Join us as we discuss Transcendent Kingdom, Yaa Gyasi’s affecting meditation on loss and the empty spaces between the spirit and reason.
We will be talking about such things in the book as the limits of faith and science, “big” trauma and “everyday” trauma, American racism, and the limits of narrative sympathy.
All are welcome, even if you have not read the book! Please register so that we know to expect you. Copies are available at the library.
